Missions

Jesus tells us "...you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth," Acts 1:8.

Sunset Hills Baptist Church is involved in many areas of missions and missions education.

Mission Education for Preschoolers

Preschoolers (infants through Kindergarten) learn about missions, missionaries and many different cultures and countries throughout the world at Mission Friends.

The group meet on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm and is a missions organization in partnership with Woman's Missionary Union (WMU) and the Southern Baptist Convention.

​

Stories, games, music, snacks, crafts and other fun and interesting activities are also enjoyed by the group.

Mission Education for Girls

Girls have fun doing crafts, learning about missionaries and participating in missions throughout the community and the world on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm - for girls first through Sixth Grade.

 

This is a missions organization in partnership with Woman's Missionary Union (WMU) and the Southern Baptist Convention.

Prayer for Missions
